Founder’s Letter,

“Esse Quam Videri”
To be, rather than to seem.

Like any story, this began with a dream.

One of my closest and most talented friends, Jesse Ferrante, and I started working on this idea due to optimism. A belief and determination of a better world for humanity, ourselves, and those who believe in it.

See, our belief is that the current state of venture capital affairs is not living up to its intended purpose, to drive innovation, to push humanity forward, and to truly support the millions of world changing ideas around the globe. 

Firms today lack youth, creativity, and order. As they are often compared to the “wild west.” We are not here to spray and pray. Our belief lies in discipline, urgency, structure, results, and most importantly, shaping humanity for the better. 

Our approach is guided by optimism and conviction, not convention. We will partner with founders building B2B healthcare companies that elevate human capability and strengthen the infrastructure of modern care. We invest exclusively in pre-seed through Series A companies improving outcomes, accelerating discovery, and enabling healthcare at scale. However, we will follow disruptive innovations that are expanding the frontier of human progress and defining what is possible, as long as they remain within our web. We back technologies that push healthcare and humanity forward. 

While some may disagree, we believe our strength is perspective. The venture industry has no shortage of experience, but it often loses proximity to emerging technology and shifting societal expectations. We bring youth, discipline, and creativity to an industry that too often defaults to pattern recognition. At the same time, we respect the wisdom that comes from decades of building. Our plan is to combine both, pairing modern instinct with institutional discipline and wisdom. Our goal is to merge new perspectives with proven judgment.

Our vision is not simply to build a venture fund. It is to build a company that redefines what it means to operate in healthcare innovation. We will be relentless in expansion, building Cold Harbor into a firm with lasting reach and defining influence. We aim to stand beside founders who see farther, build deeper, and refuse to accept the current limits of healthcare. There is nothing more powerful than your own conviction and your own belief in yourself.

We both have been dreaming of this for a while and ultimately decided, the only step left is forward. I understand that this journey isn’t an easy one. But I also understand the power of mindset, perseverance, and self belief. Our thought process is that if you think the price of winning is too high, wait until you get the bill of regret. Once you believe, the signs are everywhere. 

There are millions and millions of world changing ideas around the globe, and being able to give a voice to those who do not have the current capital is a pleasure. Courage is not the absence of fear, courage is acting in spite of it.

With this being said, I am proud to announce the launch of Cold Harbor Venture Capital. I am so thrilled to begin this journey and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
